The Greene County Board of Education recognized District 3 Board Member Clarence Hunt Jr. on Thursday evening for his dedicated service to the BOE and to the students of Greene County, and congratulated him on his retirement. 

During the Board Chair report section of Thursday night’s BOE meeting, Chairman Mike Lynch presented Hunt with a plaque recognizing his 8 years of service and gave remarks about the many changes and progress that have taken place in the Greene County School System during Hunt’s tenure as a member. Hunt has served on the BOE since January 2015.

All the board members joined in commenting upon Mr. Hunt’s commitment to the students of Greene County and said that it was a pleasure to work with him.
