The Greene County School System invites proposals from General Contractors for “Greene County High School Turf Baseball Field”. Scope of work to include but not be limited to the following: 

• Required grading and drainage installation 

• Install synthetic turf on baseball field (installation only) 

Requests for Proposal issued by The Greene County School System will be posted on the Georgia Procurement Registry at: https://ssl.doas.state.ga.us/gpr/eventDetails?eSourceNumber=PE-66610-NONST-2025-000000009&sourceSystemType=gpr20 It is the vendor’s responsibility to review these websites frequently for updates to bid documents. 

Contractors are instructed to carefully read all terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Contractors are required to complete all returned forms in their entirety. 

All communications concerning this RFP must be submitted in writing to Ralph Boswell, Construction Manager, Greene County School System. Email is the preferred method of communication to ralph.boswell@greene.k12.ga.us and ralph@oconeeengineering.com. Only written questions submitted via email will be accepted. No response other than responses written and distributed by Greene County School System will be binding upon the Greene County School System. Questions concerning this solicitation must be received by 5:00 PM on November 22, 2024. Answers will be posted to the Georgia Procurement Registry by end of day, November 26, 2024. 

All proposals presented must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with your company name and “GCHS Turf Baseball Field”. Please deliver your proposal to Greene County School System, 101 East Third Street, Greensboro, Georgia 30642, Attention: Ralph Boswell, Construction Manager. 

The proposal acceptance will close on December 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. Please allow ample time for delivery. Proposals submitted after the due date/time will not be accepted, however, proposals can be submitted prior to the due date/time. 

The Greene County School System reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive any formalities. Your interest and participation in the Greene County School System solicitation process is appreciated.
