You can now receive up-to-the-minute news, photos, video and other content promoting students and their achievements by following Greene County Schools on their social media channels. Please note that social media sites may contain commercial advertising that is not endorsed by the Greene County School System.
NOTE: Fake social media accounts with school and/or the district names and logos violate copyright laws but unfortunately are common. So, when checking social media for information, such as school closings or delays, please use two sources, such as the district website. To the left is a list of official social media sites approved by the Greene County School System. If it is not on our list, it is not an official account.
The use of the Greene County School System or GCSS name or logo, and a school name or logo for social media sites/usage must be cleared through the Communications Department. Employees wishing to create and maintain an official Facebook or other social media account should complete the form below in its entirety. (This includes pages for classes, athletic teams, organizations or groups of parents and/or students. It does NOT include personal profile pages.) Completing this form will allow the district to maintain a central directory of social media profiles that are available to all stakeholders.
