With 30 drivers and a fleet of 41 buses, the Greene County School District Transportation Department provides over 1850 students with transportation to and from school and field trips.

In providing this service, it is imperative that we do so in a manner that provides the highest possible level of safety. It is our goal to pursue every avenue to provide for the safety of students. This ranges from the initial and continuous training of our drivers and mechanics to requiring CPR certification for all drivers.

Students can’t learn as well if they don’t get to school safely and in a timely manner. The transportation department is dedicated to ensuring a safe and quality school bus ride for every student, every day.

Hours of Operation are Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 4:30pm.
