NOTICE OF FISCAL YEAR 2027 BUDGET HEARINGS
The Greene County School District will hold Budget Hearings on the Fiscal Year 2027 Budget. All concerned citizens are invited to attend these hearings, which will be held at the Greene County Board of Education, located at 101 East Third Street Greensboro, GA 30642, on the following dates:
- June 11, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
- June 18, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
The Greene County Board of Education will consider adoption of the Fiscal Year 2027 budget at the Regularly Scheduled Board of Education Meeting on June 18, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.

The Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts (DOAA) exists to provide decision makers with credible management information to promote improvements in accountability and stewardship in state and local government.
The Education Audit Division (EAD) is responsible for performing financial and compliance audits and agreed upon procedure reports of public local education agencies (i.e. public school districts).T o view a listing of reports on the DOAA's web site, select the link to the "Reports" page, and then click on "Local Government Reports." Public School System reports are found under the “Education Audit” division, or you may type "Greene County" into the filter search bar on the left side of the screen.
