ATLAS Ministry, Inc. is a non-denominational Christian organization serving Greensboro, Georgia and the surrounding area.
In August of 2019, the Greene County School System partnered with Foothills State Charter School to offer students an alternative to dropping out of high school. The satellite campus of Foothills is located at Greene County High School, and will allow students to earn a high school diploma from an accredited Georgia high school.
The University of Georgia Greene County Extension Office extends lifelong learning to Georgia citizens through unbiased, research-based education.
Controlled at the community level, Family Connection is present in every county in Georgia. It is the largest statewide network of communities in the nation that have made a commitment to improve results for children and families.
In August 2010, the leadership program became a Greene County Regional Leadership Academy.
Uncle Remus Regional Library System's mission is to "provide constituents access to print and non-print informational, educational, and recreational resources to help create an informed citizenry and enable lifelong learning. For this reason, we strive to continually provide a varied array of learning tools to our patrons."
OPAS is a non-profit organization that presents a variety of high-quality arts experiences while helping to foster a sense of shared community through the arts.
The Pete Nance Boys & Girls Club was formed in June 2011.
The Thillen Education Foundation is a distinguished community-based earned financial assistance program based on personal coaching and committed to honoring the achievements of 450+ students participating in Greene College & Career Academy.
