Regina Gainer grew up in the Union Point Georgia and in 1993 graduated from Greene-Taliaferro Comprehensive High School, now known as Greene County High School. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1998 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology.

Regina Gainer served the great state of Georgia for over 15 years.  She was employed by Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles as a Parole Officer in the Atlanta area, Georgia's Office of the Attorney General as a Civil Litigation Paralegal, and Georgia Department of Family and Children Services as a Social Worker.

Regina Gainer has been married to her husband Stephen Gainer for over 11 years.  They relocated to Greene County to raise their son, Christopher around family, friends, and the community in which they both grew up.

For the last six years Regina Gainer has worked as a Family Service Assistant with the YMCA of Metro Atlanta/Greene Early Learning Center.  She and her family attends New Springfield Baptist Church in Siloam Georgia. She actively supports the School Readiness programs within the community as well as Parent Engagement.

Regina Gainer's goal as a Greene County School Board Member is to ensure that every student residing in Greene County receives a great education.
