Education: Bachelor's degree in special education and elementary education and a Master's degree in Counseling.
Hobbies/Interests: I am a mother and a grandmother of three.  Reading, knitting, yoga and cooking are things I love to do.
Career: Retired, I have taught both elementary school and special education.  Midlife, I changed careers and had a private practice as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.  
Note to students: Have a plan for your life, set achievable goals and give yourself credit when you achieve each goal, and let people who care about you collaborate with you.
