Degrees and Certifications:
Education: I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in a Specialty Accountancy Program at Pace University, New York City and completed Master of Arts Graduate Work at San Francisco State University in San Francisco, California
Hobbies/Interests: I am a father of 4 children and 3 grandchildren. While in High School I played 3 sports - Soccer, Wrestling, and Track and received a wrestling scholarship to go to college. While in graduate school I was on the University Judo Team and have also studied and practiced Jiu Jitsu Martial Arts. I have taught Judo to underprivileged youth in urban environments with the aim to build within my students self confidence, worth, respect, tolerance, dignity, self-control, and preservation. I have hitch-hiked through-out the United States (been to 49 of 50 states), Europe, and Mexico and have lived overseas in England on two separate occasions. As interests I have enjoyed hiking, camping, white water canoeing, kayaking, hunting, fishing, golf, sailing, boating, paddle boarding, biking, motorcycling, gardening, weight training, and a diverse selection of reading.
Career: While my early career was with a major accounting firm in New York City, I quickly discovered I would rather “make things happen” versus “count what had happened” and I took a commissioned sales position. That choice, although little did I realize at the time, was the defining moment in my career. Being a commissioned sales person is a significant challenge, risk, and few are successful at it. God gave me the gifts and over time the talent to excel in this role culminating in working for international consultancy firms positioning and securing very large scale multi-million dollar accelerated profit improvement projects for Fortune 500 companies. This career led me to hold senior executive and Board of Director positions and responsibilities across 4 continents and multiple countries in Europe, South America, Latin America, Asia, Canada, the Middle East, and the United States. I have also been the CEO of two start-up companies.
Note to Students: Your years in High School can be some of your best ever and the most memorable in your life. No matter the interest, activity, task, or goal, give it your 100% best and don’t ever, ever give up on yourself. You were made by a loving God, unique, special and powerful with a defined purpose. He holds you responsible for your inputs to life, while He is in control of the outputs and the outcome. Your life can be a thrilling adventure if you choose to make it one. As your coach, I put you first and foremost and you can expect from me my 100% for you.
Note to parents: I only ask that you allow me to be a part of your child’s life and that together, we can help him/her become the person God created them to be.
