Degrees and Certifications:
Hugh Morton
Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at University of New Orleans.
Hobbies/Interest: I have been married for 39years and have two married son’s and two grandchildren. I enjoy sports and am an avid golfer. I retired in 2008 and we moved to the lake area from Ohio.
Career: Most of my career was in manufacturing. I ran global manufacturing operations, producing plastics, chemicals and consumer electronics with manufacturing operations in the US, Mexico, Canada, Europe and Asia. I also ran a global Polymer Additives business with offices in Indianapolis, Zurich and Hong Kong.
Note to students: I hope to share my career/life experience, both the mistakes and the successes, to help you develop a career plan geared to meet your passion and dreams.
Note to Parents: I look forward to working with your child over the next 4 years. I know answering the question of “What do I want to do with the rest of my life” can be daunting. I was very fortunate to have a mentor in my life that helped direct me to an enjoyable and successful career. It is not work if you find a career that matches your passion, goals and aspirations. I hope to help your child find that career.
