Education: BS degrees in Agriculture and Accounting from the University of Kentucky, MBA from University of Illinois, CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
Hobbies/Interests: I have run lots of 10K's and a marathon. My work took me to 86 countries and 43 states. My adult life has been much different from when I was a child, growing up poor on a farm near a small Southeastern Kentucky town, going to a one-room elementary school with no indoor restrooms, and being the only one in my family to go to high school.
Career: I had 11 jobs with 2 companies in my 40-year career, ranging from internal auditing to Managing Director of International Sales & Operations.
Note to students: Set goals, stay focused on those goals and do your best to succeed.
