Dr. Jacqueline Jackson

Dr. Jackson began her career in education as an elementary school teacher. She later taught middle school math, before becoming an Instructional Coordinator, Assistant Principal and Principal. Most recently, she served as the Principal of Greensboro Elementary School. She is also an Adjunct Instructor with Middle Georgia College.

Dr. Jackson has been a member of several local and statewide associations and councils including Middle Georgia College School of Education Advisory Council, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Georgia Association of Middle Schools, Georgia Association of Elementary School Principals, the Knight Foundation, the Professional Association of Georgia Educators and the 1994 and 1997 Praxis Committee. She was also the past president of the Bibb County Elementary Principals Association, a reader for the 2000 Pay  for  Performance  Applications  and  the  1990-91  Teacher  of  the  Year  for  Watson Elementary School.

She holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia.
