Ms. Sabrina Tillman is a native of Florida, but has called Georgia home for the past 13 years. She is a graduate of Florida A&M University, Central Michigan University and Argosy University, where she is continuing her Doctoral studies. She has been a valued member of the Greene County School System family for the past three years. Her sincere belief that educating students for a successful future is what drives Ms. Tillman to lead with a heart for students and a no nonsense approach to discipline.
As PREP Center Coordinator, Ms. Tillman will be responsible for development, organization and operation of the Greene County Alternative Education Program. She has high expectations for discipline and individual student academic accountability.
Prior to working in Greene County, Ms. Tillman worked in Broward County, Florida and DeKalb County as a Health and Physical Education teacher. In her 18 years of experience, she has served as team leader, department chairperson and Assistant Principal on Special Assignment.
In 2006, she completed the revision of the DeKalb County Physical Education curriculum, which addressed social skills and aligned them with the national standards. In 2007, she was named Georgia Association for Health Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (GAHPERD) Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the Year. In addition, Ms. Tillman has served on various committees including DeKalb County Leadership Team, The Master Teacher Cadre and she recently completed training for GLISI Principal Pilot program.
During her tenure in Greene County, Ms. Tillman has served as the assistant principal at both Carson Middle School and Greene County High School, and most recently interim principal and assistant principal at Union Point Elementary School. While at Carson Middle School, Ms. Tillman was instrumental in the initial planning that has led to tremendous improvements at the middle school. Ms. Tillman was also very active in the initial research; planning and implementation of the 9th grade academy at Greene County High School and the positive discipline turn around at Union Point Elementary.
In her free time, Ms. Tillman enjoys exercising, scrap-booking, reading and playing golf.
Ms. Tillman believes that when good instruction occurs and discipline is managed, teachers will be able to teach and students of all ability levels can learn. As PREP Center Coordinator, Ms. Tillman plans to utilize her strengths as an educational leader with diverse experiences in student discipline, testing, problem solving and academic coaching.

- Must be appropriate size. Clothing that is too tight or loose will be considered inappropriate. Over-sized pants are prohibited.
- Must be worn at the natural waist
- No jeans, cargo pant, or pants with large pockets
SHOES - Must be designed for outdoor use (Sneakers, Tennis shoes, “Boat shoes”, Dress loafers etc.)
- Must cover the entire foot
- Must be laced if appropriate
- No Flip Flops, Sandals, “Mules”, High heels or pumps
