On May 27, Tara Heaton with Herff Jones presented the NABSE 2010-2011 Superintendent of the Year class ring to Greene County Schools Superintendent Dr. Barbara Pulliam Davis.More Coach Charlie Winslette, Head Football Coach at Greene County High School, is the recipient of this year’s Georgia Athletic Coaches Association’s R.L. Shorty Doyal Award. This is one of the top awards given yearly at the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association’s Summer Awards Ceremony, held this year in Dalton on Saturday, June 4.More Greene County teachers and staff were recognized for their outstanding student achievements Friday morning during the district’s End of the Year Ceremony. For several of these teachers, this meant being recognized for having a 100 percent pass rate in multiple classes.
