The annual GCHS Homecoming Parade will be held
Thursday, Oct. 20 at 4:30 p.m.

The deadline to register is Friday, Oct. 7.

This year’s theme is
“Crown the True Tiger.”
Entry fee is $5 per vehicle. (Before October 7, 2016)
Please provide a copy of license and registration for drivers of any vehicles in the parade. These can be turned in to the high school office or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Deadline to turn these items in is Friday, October 7, 2016. Any late registration will be charged a $10 entry fee per vehicle. ALL FORMS AND MONEY MUST BE TURNED IN TOGETHER BEFORE DEADLINE.
*Parade Entry Type: A float (trailer) attached to the back of a truck would still be considered 1 entry. However, two separate vehicles for the same group would be considered 2 entries. A group that has walkers and a float/truck/car would be considered 1 entry.
Line-up location: Please adhere to the following guidelines. As soon as the buses leave, please get into the parade line-up to finish putting final touches on the car/truck/float. The directions given are based on standing in front of the school looking at it.
1. Homecoming court and senior sponsors: Line up to the right of the school (the road beside the teacher parking lot). You will form two lines homecoming court closest to the school, and senior sponsors closest to the parking lot.
2. Fire department, police department, JROTC, band, auxiliary dancers, cheerleaders, superintendent, board members, and teachers of the year: Line up to the left of the school (the road beside the student parking lot). You will form one line. As you arrive you will be placed in your designated order.
3. Everyone else (clubs, other schools, community representatives, businesses, etc.): You will be lining up behind the high school. To get in line, you must drive around the middle school track. There will be no cut-through once the parade begins.
