Greene County High School
Homecoming Week Celebrations!


Be ready to show off your school spirit throughout the week of Oct. 19-23 with festivities hosted by Greene County High School.

The high school will kickoff Homecoming Week with Represent Your Class Day on Monday. Seniors will wear blue, juniors will wear red, sophomores will wear gray and freshman will wear green. On Tuesday, students will participate in Squad/Twin Day, followed by Wacky Tacky Day on Wednesday, Sports Team Day on Thursday and Spirit/Black Out Day on Friday. (Regular uniforms are required for students who choose not to participate.)

Join in on the continued celebration Wednesday, Oct. 21  at 4:30 p.m. for the  school's annual Powder Puff game. The homecoming  parade will take place on Thursday, Oct. 22, and will start along Main Street in Greensboro at 4:30 p.m. Line-up will begin at the high school at 3:45 p.m. The parade will travel approximately two miles through downtown and end at the Board of Education building. This year's theme is "Cage the Eagle." Following the parade, the high school will host its homecoming dance from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are $2 and door tickets are $3.

Finally, be sure to help us cheer on our Tiger football team on Friday, Oct. 23 as they take on Riverside Military Academy; and see who will represent the high school as this year's Homecoming King and Queen. Kick-off will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Carson Middle School
Homecoming Spirit Week:

Monday:  Camo day

Tuesday:  Sports team day

Wednesday:  Hat day

Thursday:  Tacky Day

Friday: Spirit day-black and gold


(Regular uniforms are required for students who choose not to participate.)


   

Greensboro Elementary School
Homecoming Spirit Week:

Monday: Hat Day - (Wear your favorite hat) “Hats off to the Tigers”

Tuesday: Wacky Tacky Day/Opposite Day - Wear mixed up clothes (We are “crazy” about the Tigers”)

Wednesday: Wear pink shirts and jeans - To show that Tigers are supporters of “Breast Cancer Awareness Month”

Thursday: “Black “ Out Day.  - Wear Black tops and khaki pants. The Tigers will “Black out the Eagles”) “Tigers are tops” 

Friday: “Spirit Day – Show your spirit by wearing black or gold to support the tigers!! -“We are roaring with Tiger Spirit” 

(Regular uniforms are required for students who choose not to participate.)



   

Union Point STEAM Academy
Homecoming Spirit Week:

Monday: Wacky Tacky Day-Students can dress in their wacky tacky attire. Attire must be appropriate; Jeans may be worn.*

Tuesday: Pajama Day- Students can wear their pajamas. Pajamas must be appropriate. *

Wednesday: Camo Day- Wear your best “camo” gear. Jeans may be worn if a camo shirt is worn. *

Thursday: Favorite Sports Team- Students can wear clothing or hats to show off their favorite sports team. Jeans may be worn if a team shirt is worn. *

Friday: Black and Gold Day- Show your school spirit by dressing in black and gold. Jeans may be worn. *


(Regular uniforms are required for students who choose not to participate.)
SPECIAL NOTE:   Students at UPSA who do not participate may pay $1.00 to wear jeans w/ a collared shirt.
