As a way to spotlight the success stories of our students, teachers, staff, and administrators, we have created our newest publication We are GCSS. We are GCSS will be released each month by the Office of Communications. The best part about We are GCSS…the success stories are not limited to the walls of our classrooms or buildings…they include life changing accomplishments that impact and shape our daily lives.

Senior economic students from Greene County High School went on a field trip to the Atlanta Federal Reserve and the World of Coke, on Tuesday, Nov. 7. As we arrived at the Federal Reserve, you could see the whole building was surrounded by officers and security guards. When we first entered there was a lot of security around because there is a lot of money being handled. You have to go through a security check before you can even enter into the main lobby area. We all had to put our belongings into a locker, you are not allowed to have your phones to take pictures inside.
