How to make an Open Records Request
 
                  
Under the Georgia Open Records Act, all public records are available for inspection and copying unless they are specifically exempted from disclosure under the law. 

To make a request under the Georgia Open Records Act, you will need to complete our official Open Records Request Form (click here). The completed form  should be sent by mail or via e-mail to:

Please note that the Greene County School System charges reasonable fees for the production of records in accordance with the laws of the state of Georgia.  



If you need a transcript, copy of school records, or diploma, you do not need to fill out an Open Records Request form.  Please contact us at 706-453-7688 for instructions on how to make this type of request.
