A Marine Corp Veteran, serving in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Dr. Hill has more than 19 years of experience in public education. Dr. Hill received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Florida A & M University in Tallahassee, Florida and a Master’s degree (1995) and Doctorate degree (2002) in Educational Leadership from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta.

Believing that "All Students can Learn at High Levels" through consistent teaching strategies and dedication, Dr. Hill is uncompromising in his many quests for quality educational opportunities for all students. He considers himself a proficient and dedicated leader with an unrelenting commitment to students and education. His strengths include his ability as a strong instructional leader and his ability to manage and communicate with the community in which the school serves.

Dr. Joan V. Antone is the principal of Greensboro Elementary School.  Joan serves as the instructional leader and administrative officer of the school. She is responsible for the organization and operation of the school and the supervision of all teachers and all activities.  She maintains a climate of high expectations for students and staff and implements positive school-community relations.

Joan is a product of the Greene County School District.  Professionally, she has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, a Master’s Degree in Library Science/Elementary Education, a Specialist Degree in Reading and a Doctorate in Administration and Supervision.  She has worked in the field of education for 35 years and has a passion for leading.

Carson Middle School
 
Mr. Brock Miller, Interim Principal
Anita White Carson Middle School

On August 16, 2011, Mr. Brock Miller was named Interim Principal at Anita White Carson Middle School.  Mr. Miller received his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Western Washington University and his Georgia Mathematics Teaching Certificate from the University of Georgia. He later earned his M.A. in Ed. from Troy University and Ed. S. from Lincoln Memorial. 

Previous to accepting the Interim Principal position at Anita White Carson Middle School, Mr. Miller served as an Assistant Principal at Greene County High School. Prior to this, he was a classroom teacher at Clarke Central High School in Athens, Georgia.

Brock and his wife Ashlie, (Union Point Elementary School Instructional Coach), have two children and live in Greensboro.

Union Point Elementary School

Mrs. Cass Robinson, Acting Principal

Since coming to Greene County in the summer of 2010, Mrs. Cass Robinson has served as Literacy and Gifted Support Specialist specifically assigned to Union Point Elementary as Literacy Coach. Mrs. Robinson also coordinated the gifted programs and testing for eligibility K-12. She facilitated the Instructional Coaches for Greene County as well as for the NE Georgia RESA district.

Mrs. Robinson received her BS in Education from Georgia State University after completing a year internship teaching inner-city Atlanta youth through the Teacher Corps Consortium in 1972. She completed her Masters in Reading at Georgia State in 1981 and her Educational Specialist Degree in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University in 2006. She holds memberships in Georgia Association for Gifted Children, National Association for Gifted Children, and ASCD.

Mrs. Robinson enjoys singing with the Classic City Swing Band in Athens, directed by her husband, Ben Robinson. The couple has two children and one grandchild. They attend Mount Paran Church in Atlanta, where they are both active in the Music and Arts program.
