Mr. Derry Drake is Greene County School System's Nutrition Director.  Prior to joining GCSS, Drake served as the Chairman and CEO of Prestige Foods Corporation, which specialized in institutional food service and catering for county governments, federal agencies, K-12 public schools, K-12 private academies, colleges and universities. Drake also served as an executive management consultant for 12 years. The last five years of his consulting career was spent as an executive consultant for IBM in the elite IBM Business Consulting Services, Strategy Consulting Internal Practice based in White Plains, NY.

Drake holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia, specializing in Strategic Planning and Corporate Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Georgia. He is Serv-Safe Certified by the National Restaurant Association. Drake is also a certified arbitrator and serves as a neutral arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and the Dispute Settlement Board.

Drake is the chairman of the board for the Institute for Community and Organizational Development (ICOD). He is also a member of the Athens Technical College Foundation Board.
