    December 06, 2010 - Greene County High School social studies teacher, Rotonya Rhodes, received the Mary McLeod Bethune Outstanding Teacher Award at the 2010 Annual National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE) awards dinner.  The award is presented to teachers whose innovative teaching techniques have led to an increase in student achievement through demonstrating unparalleled commitment and innovation toward enhancing the quality of instruction.  READ MORE
  • GCEE Recognizes Rotonya Rhodes as Teacher of the Year Finalist
    ATLANTA – May 17, 2010 – The Georgia Council on Economic Education recognized Rotonya Rhodes, an economics teacher at Greene County High School in Greensboro as one of two finalists for its Georgia Economics Teacher of the Year. Ms. Rhodes received her recognition at the Council’s annual meeting held May 13 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.  READ MORE
